Chev 9 played brilliantly today against St Andrew’s Cathedral School. Their shooting was excellent and their passing was a joy to watch. The girls in defence did a great job of intercepting and catching rebounds. All in all, a very enjoyable game and the girls had fun. Our score was an eye-watering 46 to Chev, St Andrews 7. Well done girls! Brilliant job of teamwork!
Firsts won 38-29. Was a good all court effort with Ruby M and Izzy H stepping up to help out. Great shooting from Annabel B and full physical game from Bella W. Zahli had a great game in defence and worked well with Ruby in the circle.
Chev 5: 26-44. Girls played a great game even though they lost. Thank you to Grace who stepped up to play for us too.
In Round 5, the U14 Boys Football played their first game of the season and had a convincing 7-2 win against St Paul’s Grammar School at the Colo Fields at Richmond on Saturday. All of the boys played an excellent game. Their hard work at training paid off in both defence and attack. Goal scorers on the day were Braydon F, Amirali B, Hamish Johnson, Lachlan B and Jaimie M, who scored three goals. The sportsmanship of all of the boys was a credit to Chevalier College.
