Music
Extra-curricular music at Chevalier College offers students an opportunity to enjoy a varied musical program. We offer all students to extend their musical abilities through various bands, choirs and orchestral ensembles.
Our specialist Music teachers offer the following programs as a way of students building their self-confidence and enriching their wellbeing:
- Chamber Ensemble
- Drumline (Term 1)
- Jazz/Rock Band
- Classic Rock Band
- String Ensemble
- Concert Band
- Guitar Ensemble
- Orchestra
- Junior Band
- Choir
The students have a range of opportunities to perform including: music concerts each term, extension opportunities at the HICES music festival, playing in the orchestra for the musicals, playing at Anzac parades and local events (including our drumline playing at the march at the dawn service each year).
Note: instruments area available to be loaned to students.
