The Chevalier College Board is seeking expressions of interest from, or recommendations of, people who may be suitable and who may wish to be considered for appointment to voluntary Board Committees. When any Board vacancies occur, those positions are generally filled from the Board Committees.
The Chevalier College Board is responsible for nurturing the MSC ethos-Spirituality of the Heart and governs the College, on behalf of the Provincial-in-Council, in matters pertinent to legal obligations, risk management, strategic planning, implementation of policies and procedures, finance and compliance.
There are five standing committees whose work informs the Board’s decision-making process throughout the year. Those Committees are:
We therefore seek applications from people with high level experience in these, or other areas, who wish to contribute to the ongoing development and long-term viability of the College and who also have an interest in, and commitment to, working with the College in fostering the MSC culture and spirit. Experience in sustainability, grants, education, public relations, philanthropic fundraising and/or MSC Spirituality would be highly valued.
