Founded in 1946 Chevalier College is a Catholic coeducational secondary college owned and conducted by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC). Although the College is widely recognised for its high standard of teaching and excellent care for students, Chevalier does more than teach the curriculum.
There were some difficult games outdoors with the windy conditions last weekend. Chev athletes played some hard-fought battles against local opponents Oxley. Congratulations to all teams this week.
That’s a wrap for the talented cast and crew of the 2023 production of Beautiful – the Carole King musical. Directed by Kate Price, the cast took the audience on a captivating journey of music and nostalgia. Carole King's iconic story came to life as she discovered her voice as a songwriter and singer in the 1960’s.
Chev played host to tennis, hockey, boys football (soccer), rugby and netball on Saturday. There were many close games as ISA’s Round 3 competition took place.
Tickets are now available for this year’s production of Beautiful – the Carol King Musical performed and produced by our wonderfully talented students. The musical is limited to five sessions, so make sure you get your tickets early. https://events.humanitix.com/beautiful-the-carole-king-musical for ticket purchases.
We are delighted to launch our newsletter - Chev News! Click through to read about what has been happening this year at Chev.

Round 9's ISA cricket match against Oakhill College was a day for the purists. 92 overs of competitive cricket over a period of 8 hours in what can only be described as extreme and at times oppressive conditions. Nonetheless, our Chev boys were buoyant at the prospect of being back at home on the Main Oval and, for our Year 12 contingent (Kurtis, Moses, Finn and Sam), this would be their last match at home representing the College. Rain halted the game, but Chevalier were pronounced winners thanks to the Duckworth Lewis system.
It was a bumper day on the sporting fields and courts at Chevalier for Round 8 of the ISA competition. The College played host to numerous basketball and touch football games from 9.00am to 2.30pm. A handful of teams also travelled to Sydney for boys basketball and cricket games.
ISA Sport is back for 2023! It was a crisp Southern Highlands morning on Saturday as our ISA teams headed to Bathurst, North Ryde and the Blue Mountains for Round 7. It was great to see our 1st Cricketers back on the Main Oval and the Intermediate Girls Softball in action on the Meadow diamond. Congratulations to the Intermediate B Girl's Touch team, the Junior Girl's Basketball team and the 1st Cricket team that all came away with a win.
With sheer hard work, and the ongoing support of their families, their teachers, and the Chevalier College community, the Class of 2022 have achieved results beyond our expectations.
