Netball and a couple of Hockey matches were the only survivors of a very wet week. We do hope to play the Chev v Oxley fixtures again at some stage of the season.
In the Hockey matches the 1sts travelled to Barker missing a few players due to injury and other commitments. Unfortunately, the final result was not very flattering but the players never stopped trying.
The Juniors travelled to the Blue Mountains and managed to score a goal on a very wet field which was enough for a win.
Our Netballers hosted Barker, Central Coast and St Andrews, with one travelling team away on the Northern Beaches. Leah Robertson’s travellers had a great trip coming home with a 4 point win.
Our other winners on the day were the Junior A’s against Barker and the mighty fine Chev 9 team against St Andrews.
The match of the day was Andrea Silver’s Chev 7 Juniors who had a nerve jangling 17-17 draw with the Central Coast girls.
