The opening round of the Summer sports competition commenced on Saturday.
Conditions were perfect for play for most of the morning until it did get a little damp later in the day.
Once again students were all happy to be playing and there were lots of smiling faces on the Chev fields.
All of the Chev Girls basketball teams were winners.
The Boys Basketballers played in a lot of close encounters with Oxley.
The Softballers commenced their season playing “Rally Ball” and found it interesting to say the least.
It was fantastic to see both Coates and Sadlier Ovals full with Touch Football players.
We now have 8 Girls teams and 4 Boys teams who are playing in a competition for the first time.
The Junior cricketers bowled Robertson out for only 28 runs in a very convincing performance.
The 1sts Cricket team started their game against Oxley but the rain unfortunately forced play to be abandoned.
So good to be back in action
And good for all new Staff coaches to be on the winners list.
