Willo Enduro 2018

The Chevalier College Mountain Bike Team geared up for the first event of the season on Sunday the 11th March. The James Williamson Enduro is always a favourite for the Chevalier Students as we remember the legacy that Chev past student and World Champion mountain biker James Williamson has left the sport.

The event is run magnificently by Meg Patey and her team of reliable volunteers. All of the proceeds go towards supporting junior mountain bikers reach their potential through coaching and mentoring at The Willo Camp.

We had some wonderful results from Chevalier students:

Cameron Butcher – 1st place U19 Male 75km
Harry Dennington – 2nd place U19 Male 50km
Seren Johnson – 2nd place U17 Female 25km
Holly Boyle – 3rd place U17 Female 25km
Jakob Economos – 3rd place U15 Male 13km
Dalia Caceres – 3rd place U15 Female 13km
Larry Doyle – 3rd place U13 Male 13km

With over 32 riders representing the College on the day it was a successful and enjoyable day for all involved.

Congratulations from the Team Chev organisers to all of the riders who competed on the day. The participants rode in the spirit of the day and represented themselves and the College with pride.

Well done!  We’re looking forward to our next event.
