What is Chevalier College?
Chevalier College is a Catholic secondary college owned by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) and conducted by Chevalier College Limited. Chevalier does more than teach the curriculum, although the College is widely recognised for its high standard of teaching and excellent care for students.
Chevalier is a community that embodies a special culture grounded in a spirituality which inspires teachers and students to aim for greater things. It is a culture that encourages people to do their best and instills confidence that every person is valued. If one’s time at school is a ‘formative’ period, then Chevalier truly makes the most of that time.
As parents, you can rest assured that your decision to send your children to Chevalier is a wise one, as the College aims to give them the skills and attitudes they will need to achieve their own potential. As a student, you can be assured that the many thousands of students who have gone before you have created a wonderful tradition, history and sense of community. It is a community you can enjoy and thrive in and one in which you will make lifelong friends.
Chevalier College embodies: growth in faith through an extensive Religious Education program and rich devotional life; intellectual progress by challenging each individual to achieve his or her best within a wide and varied curriculum; physical development through high endeavour in sport and other outdoor activities; cultural awareness by embracing the profound influence of the arts and related activities that have moulded our society; and social development by interaction with other members of the community and by the challenge to share goods and talents.
Whether you are a parent or a student, we invite you to join our community and we look forward to welcoming you.
