Show Team

Chevalier College students can participate in the Show Team from Years 7 -12.  Students are involved in training sessions and exhibiting at various agricultural shows, leading up to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The students begin the season by breaking in, feeding and preparing cattle in Term 4.  Students are then involved in preparing and learning how to present cattle for the show season in Term 1.

Our students demonstrate their commitment to the Show Team by attending training in their own time on a weekly basis after school.  Then, on show weekends, the students take great delight in demonstrating their skills, understanding and professionalism at local agricultural shows.

Student performances have been commented on by members of the Beef Industry as being of a consistently high standard and have been awarded many accolades, including Finalists for Young Judges and Young Paraders competitions.

Featuring a fully-functional, on-site farm and a high quality Agricultural Program, Chevalier students gain real-world, hands-on experience that is highly regarded by prospective future employers.
