Student Information Booklet for details of all uniform items, uniform regulations and purchase arrangements.
As noted on the list, only the Study Diary, Visual Arts Process Diary and the required calculator are available for purchase from The Chev Shop.
Black All Weather Jackets
The black all-weather jacket is optional. This jacket may be worn in addition to the compulsory uniform items in Terms 2 and 3, but not instead of those items. Exceptions: Extreme weather conditions as determined by the college.
Orders for the all-weather jacket will only be made when a minimum of 50 are requested. It is anticipated that an order will be placed at the commencement of Term 1 each year – additional orders may be placed throughout the year if minimum requirements are met.
GENERAL INFORMATION about The Chev Shop
The Chev Shop is located next door to Student Services and the Reception Office of the McMahon Administration Centre, at 11 Charlotte Street, Burradoo (via Gate 4). Look for The Chev Shop sign on the pathway to Reception from the main car park.
The Chev Shop Philosophy
The aim of The Chev Shop is to provide school and sports uniforms and other ancillary items at a reasonable cost. The shop operates at cost, plus a minimal margin to cover running costs.
The Chev Shop does not provide credit and we request that all items be paid for at the time of purchase. Payment may be made by cash, eftpos or credit card. Payment by credit card will incur a surcharge as follows:
Visa and Mastercard – 1%
American Express – 1%
The Chev Shop does not accept cheques.
Unfortunately, purchases cannot be transferred to the college fees account. However, a facility is available for parents to deposit a nominal amount of cash to enable their children to make purchases as and when required.
Exchange/Returns: Exchanges and returns must be made within four (4) weeks of purchase date – proof of purchase must also be provided. There are no refunds or exchanges on consignment or secondhand clothing.
The college gratefully accepts donations of secondhand uniforms; however, we are unable to accept any ‘white’ items, such as senior shirts, due to discolouration.
Due to the upcoming changes in the college uniform, the shop may be unable to accept some items as donations or on consignment. Please check with shop staff when dropping off donations or consignment items.
The Chev Shop no longer accepts items to be sold on consignment, with the exception of:
- Boy’s Blazer
- Girl’s Blazer
These items must be clean and not damaged – the Chev Shop retains 20% of the sale price. Blazers sold on consignment must be checked by Chev Shop staff, and a Chev consignment form must be completed for items accepted for sale by the shop. Please do not leave items at the college when the shop is unattended.
