Uniform Guidelines
NOTE:  Blazers are compulsory for senior students (Years 11 & 12) and must be available to wear, if requested, in Terms 1 to 4.

Black All Weather Jackets

Orders for these will only be made when a minimum of 10 jackets are requested, so if you wish to place an order, please come in to The Chev Shop or, alternatively, you are welcome to place an order over the phone and the student can come in to confirm their correct size if need be (during regular shop hours).

Please note that the black all weather (winter) jacket is optional. The jacket may be worn in addition to the compulsory uniform items, in Terms 2 and 3, but not instead of those items. Exceptions: Extreme weather conditions as determined by the College.

General Information about The Chev Shop

The Chev Shop is located next door to Student Services and the Reception Office of the McMahon Administration Centre, at 11 Charlotte Street, Burradoo (via Gate 4).  Look for The Chev Shop sign on the pathway to Reception from the main car park.

The Chev Shop Philosophy

The aim of The Chev Shop is to provide school and sports uniforms and other ancillary items at a reasonable cost. The shop operates at cost, plus a minimal margin to cover running costs.

The Chev Shop does not provide credit and we request that all items be paid for at the time of purchase.  Payment may be made by cash, eftpos or credit card.  Payment by credit card will incur a surcharge as follows:

Visa and Mastercard – 1%
American Express – 1%

The Chev Shop does not accept cheques.

Unfortunately, purchases cannot be transferred to the College fees account. However, a facility is available for parents to deposit a nominal amount of cash to enable their children to make purchases as and when required.

Exchanges/Returns: Exchanges and returns must be made within four (4) weeks of purchase date – proof of purchase must also be provided. There are no refunds or exchanges on consignment or second-hand clothing.

The College gratefully accepts donations of second-hand uniforms; however, we are unable to accept any ‘white’ items, such as senior shirts, due to discolouration.

A facility for selling second-hand uniforms on consignment is available. The Chev Shop retains 20% of the sale price. Please ensure that any items, either donated or placed on consignment, are clean and not damaged.

Vests:  Please note that due to a surplus of second-hand vests we are currently unable to accept any further donations or consignment placements of this item. We will advise via this website page if this situation changes.
Polo Shirts:  We can no longer accept the blue ‘ribbed’ [original style] polo shirts to be sold as second-hand or on consignment. Due to the introduction of the ‘new’ polo shirt, sales of the older style polo shirt have now dwindled.

NOTE: Items to be sold on consignment must be checked by Chev Shop staff. A Chev Shop consignment form must be completed for items accepted for sale by the shop. Please do not leave items at the College when the shop is unattended.
