Gifted and Talented
Chevalier College acknowledges that each individual child is a gift of God, blessed with special gifts and talents which need to be enhanced by both parents and educators.
Educational principles at Chevalier College ensure that all students are to receive an education appropriate to their individual capabilities, interests and needs, and that students have learning opportunities that help develop their abilities to the highest level.
Gifted students are those with the potential to exhibit superior performance across a range of different areas of endeavour. Talented students are those with the potential to exhibit superior performance in one area of endeavour.
Chevalier College acknowledges that it is critical for gifted and talented students to be given appropriate opportunity, stimulation and the experiences to develop their potential and satisfy their learning needs.
In addition to the school curriculum and the college Extra Curriculum program, students also have the opportunity to participate in external activities, including:

- Tournament of Minds
- UN Evatt Security Council Competition
- Various UNSW Competitions
