Home grown talent hits a high note in The Mikado

“Talented actors, quality musical and singing performances, a clever script, great costumes and sets – it takes a lot to present a great stage production. And Chevalier College’s latest musical offering, The Mikado, has it all,” writes Jackie Meyers, Editor of the Southern Highland News after attending the Opening last night at Chev.

Assistant Principal Mao Tipping thoroughly enjoyed the evening too, saying “It was brilliant! – a very clever, funny, quirky and modernistic twist on the Gilbert and Sullivan classic! It’s hard to believe it’s just a school musical; very professional!”  “The costumes are fabulous, the kids are brilliant and the cast and crew, and all involved should be extremely proud of themselves!
