Celebrating our sportspeople at Chev

Many Chevalier College students were acknowledged at a school assembly on 21 March for their outstanding performances and commitment to sports.

At the Berrima District Sports Awards presentation held on Friday 22 February, our 1sts Hockey Team was named School Team of the Year for 2018.

We wish to again congratulate the following members of the team for this very special recognition:

Gabby Bunyan, Ella Cleary, Jacqui Roberts (Year 12), Lauren Balla, Tessa Good, April Hamilton, Sage Herrod, Lucy O’Hea, Kaelan Read (Year 11); Monique Bernie, Anna Peterson (Year 10); Jemima Gripper, Amy McClay, Emily Purcell (Year 9); Grace Howard (Year 8)

And congratulations go to their much loved Coach Ali Montgomery.

Equestrian sportswoman Brielle Powell in Year 10 at Chev was announced Junior Sportsperson of the Year for 2018 at the BDS Awards night.

Brielle has demonstrated outstanding commitment to her sport with an impressive list of achievements, ribbons and champion trophies to her name. Congratulations Brielle!

Also nominated for School Team of the Year 2018 were our Mountain Bike Team and the 1sts Rugby Team. Well done to all team members, coaching staff and family supporters of these great Chev teams.

In current news, Chev’s Jemima Gripper, Grace Howard, Amy McClay and Giselle Townsend have made it into the ISA 16 & Under Hockey Team and our swimmers are doing well.
